The goal of this project is to increase the leadership competencies
of individuals with disabilities from underserved and
underrepresented communities, thereby maximizing the full
inclusion and integration of individuals with disabilities from
underserved and underrepresented groups into society,
employment, independent living, family support, and economic
RMTACC, in coordination with Dan Hopkins & Associates, Inc.,
through a grant from the Rehabilitation Services Administration of
the Department of Education, has been fortunate for the past
decade to be able bring a group of individuals with disabilities
from Section 21 minority backgrounds to Washington, D.C. to
participate in training on how to become better leaders in their
community.

This workshop has trained a cadre of "grass roots" individuals,
who themselves have disabilities, to work with representatives of
culturally diverse entities on issues concerning people with
disabilities.

Unfortunately, we have not been refunded for this special project
at this time, but please check for future updates on this
remarkable project.

Please call Ingrid or Dan at 1-866-617-8922 or 303-617-8922
with any questions.
